I was looking for a place to eat lunch where I had not been before. I had given up on finding a new place and decided to go try one of my go-to places, Dickeys near the Frisco Fieldhouse where our youth leagues compete in sporting events. Upon arrival I noted that Dickeys had been replaced with Ernest B's BBQ. It turned out to be one of the best finds ever for great food at an accommodating price. The environment is nostalgic and the staff is welcoming and professional. I would advise everyone to stop in and give it a test run. I am sure it won't be your last! I fully recommend this restaurant based on the flavors and choices of food, the professional service and the economic pricing. I fully commit to the 5 star rating. ”

“ I had been here several times before but I brought my mom and daughter for the first time. Ernest bbq came highly recommended. I love the Mississippi catfish coleslaw and potato salad!! My mom had the same and my daughter had the chopped brisket yum 10/10 . “ 1st time here on Friday 1/31, and it was absolutely amazing! I got the catfish fillet plate with coleslaw and okra and everything was seasoned very well and cooked fresh. My husband got the 2 meat plate with polish sausage and brisket, and everything was extremely tender and flavorful. They definitely don't skimp on the portions here. The owner Mr. Earnest even came over to speak to us and that made us feel very welcome and valued as 1st time customers. From the hospitality to the food I definitely give this place 10 stars . I very highly recommend this place and will let my family, colleagues, church members, know to make a trip here ASAP!!!! ”
“ Meat was tender sauce was flavorful. Fish was seasoned just right. Buttered toasted white bread was a nice touch. Fried okra had no stems. Tartar sauce was proportioned perfectly for the fish serving. Rib tips were nice and meaty not too much gristle. Brisket was tender and flavorful. Green beans were good. Potato salad was good. Baked beans were good. Cobbler was serviceable. Nice and clean. ”

“ I tried Earnest B’s for the first time yesterday with my family and I was very impressed. I went in with no expectations and tried the brisket baked potato. It was a decent size and had plenty of brisket and sauce on it which I loved. The staff was very friendly and Earnest was circulating around the restaurant frequently checking on everyone. He was super personable and seemed very genuine. I tried some of my mom’s beef rib as well and it was tender and juicy. I would definitely come back again! ”
